This land is both the birthplace of a King (Kamehameha III) and a playground for the Ali'i (the Royal Holua Slide). |

The mountain course was designed by local architects Nelson & Wright. The ocean course was designed by the renowned William Bell who designed, amoung others, Torrey Pines Country Club in Southern California, site of the PGA Tours San Diego Open.
